Writer’s Guidelines
Style My Soul Welcomes the Following:
We seek articles that add educational and cultural value among our global readership. Immediate attention is directed to pitches aiming to spotlight a chosen topic that is current and relevant among our target audiences.
Style My Soul is made of global members who are savvy professionals and lifestyle enthusiasts represented by the visual tiles displayed below. We've celebrated 3,453 contributors to date sharing their messages related to their interests, careers, lifestyle hacks and chosen themed topics. This is independent of our evolving podcast featuring insights from respected members contributing to positive changes around the world.
All pitches should answer the question: “Why should Style My Soul care about this topic?”
Depending on the subject matter, we welcome articles which host at least 770 words and long form narratives which host at least 1,400 words. The latter word count does not include author bio profiles and referenced sources. Proper writing skills are expected which include grammar, spelling, diction, objective of the writing piece, story progression with examples and referenced sources if necessary. Submissions must exhibit a strong command of the English language.
Each submission is reviewed by a panel. Any submission in need of proofreading and copy editing is immediately rejected. Contributors must submit their final copy, error free, ready for editorial review and publishing. Most vetted submissions are posted within 18 business days.
Due to bandwidth and deadlines, we do not dispense constructive feedback for rejected content. We also do not answer follow up questions that are already addressed through the website.
We do not accept emailed submissions. Follow the prompts on the "Write for Us" page to submit the crafted content.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage
During the last quarter at least 89% of submissions were rejected due to the use of AI and AI paraphrasing tools. Human authored submissions are given a priority. The content must be original and not published elsewhere.
Submissions flagged with AI variables are flagged for further review - if the submission adds any value, the author must honor a posting fee to share their generated message with our community.
Feature Stories
Original feature stories are accepted to be shared with our global community. These stories adhere to special guidelines which garner a commercial fee for posting.
Reposting of Materials
Reposting of materials already published elsewhere is reviewed on a case by case basis. There is a reposting fee for sharing content through Style My Soul.
What We Avoid
Excessively self and commercial promotional pitches. The contributor must add value to the community rather than sound like an elevator pitch for what they do and sell in the market. Don’t tell us - show us how your topic and/or mission is relevant.

Interested contributors should pitch to us through the contact page. Pitches that stand out are green lighted for next steps: explain what the pitch is and why it’s relevant for our readership.
If we accept and publish your submission, we’ll add you to our growing distribution list. Occasionally we make an open call for pitches based on topics waiting to be explored on the horizon. If the open call aligns with your writing style, you’re welcome to respond through the pitch page.
We adhere to hard deadlines to ensure each contributor’s submission deserves the attention during the review process. Content submissions are not guaranteed to be published. Each new piece undergoes a new screening regardless of whether a contributor has previously published their work with Style My Soul.
Gentle Reminder
Noting 'no traces of AI' exist in the submission form does not prevent our panel from reviewing and rejecting the generic content. We make no exceptions for renowned professionals, marketing agencies and PR firms. If the content hosts utility value, an AI posting fee must be paid prior to publishing.
